From Retail Executive to Sales Strategist
Buck Jones has spent over 25 years inside the retail world — making decisions, evaluating pitches, and choosing which salespeople win.
Most Sales Teams Don’t Understand the Buyer
Most sales reps know their product.
But retail buyers don’t make decisions based on product knowledge alone — they make decisions based on risk, margin, positioning, and long-term value.
That’s why so many good products never make it onto the shelf.

MEET BUCK JONES
Buck’s journey didn’t start in a boardroom — it started on the sales floor of a local supermarket.
Early in his career, he experienced firsthand what it meant to work the front lines of retail. Over the next 25+ years, he climbed the ranks through multiple organizations, eventually becoming Corporate Vice President of one of the largest supermarket companies in the United States.
Along the way, Buck sat in countless buying meetings — evaluating sales presentations, negotiating deals, and deciding which products made it to the shelf… and which didn’t.
That experience gave him something most sales trainers don’t have:
A true understanding of how retail buyers think.
Training. Consulting. Speaking. One Goal — Better Sales Performance
